The Doctoral Program in Counselor Education and Supervision has been produced to test understudies with thorough coursework and important experiential exercises. Understudies in the system will be presented to fundamental ideas and procedures in clinical intercession and treatment, research, and clinical supervision. We envision that alumni of our project will can possibly accept authority positions in the advising field and be prepared to display the most elevated goals and morals of our calling.
The system is intended for the individuals who have finished a 60 hours graduate degree in advising, hold licensure or affirmation as an expert instructor, and exhibit the potential for accepting significant administration parts in the guiding calling at the provincial or national level in college, clinical or research settings.
Statement of purpose
The mission of Keiser University's doctoral system in Counselor Education and Supervision is to instruct and plan learned guide instructors from different foundations to propel the calling through educating, grant, research, and administration. The system means to draw in understudies in building up a way of life as advisor instructors; indicating confirmation of expert administration potential; producing new information for the calling through exploration that outcomes in academic distributions; and, exhibiting proof of multicultural and specialized competency in educating, examination, supervision, and clinical practice.
